Trentham Camp Golf Club
The people at Trentham Golf Club are what make the club special. As well as enjoying the game of golf together, members enjoy socialising in the clubhouse after their rounds. The club caters towards everyone, regardless of skill level.
Members of all ages and abilities can play together on club-days. Just put your name on the start sheet and you will be guaranteed good company and an enjoyable game of golf.
Only 35 minutes drive from the Wellington CBD and set beyond the Trentham Racecourse at the foothills of the eastern upper valley hills. A relatively flat par 71 course which offers numerous challenges with its tree lined fairways, water hazards and where nature abounds with Tui and Kereru (Wood Pigeons) along with some of the other wild life which borders the course.
Also set amongst the course are other recreational groups including; an archery range, a rifle & pistol range, a model aero plane club and the NZ Police dog school which all add to the mix of activity that can be encountered during one's round.
The Clubhouse has two main areas:
- The Bunker Bar and shop is downstairs and is used the majority of the time.
- The George Bennett lounge and bar is upstairs and is mostly used for club days and some private functions.
- There are changing rooms ands showers available for use if required.
There are two warm up hitting cages and two practice greens and a practice fairway is also available and can be found by our number 8 hole.
