Methven Golf Club
Situated an hour from Christchurch, the Methven Golf Club welcomes visitors to our fantastic course all year round. Methven is a great rural community that also caters for the Mt Hutt ski area. A wide variety of accommodation, bars and restaurants makes Methven an ideal base for a golfing long weekend or holiday.
The par 71 layout is a very easy walking course with spectacular views of the Southern Alps and the surrounding farmland. All holes are tree lined with beautiful colours during the autumn months. The course has a fantastic reputation for it's challenge, condition and presentation. If you're golfing around Canterbury it's not to be missed.
The Methven Golf Club has a designated practice are that can handle shots up to 240 metres. A very rare thing at a country course.
Our bar and clubhouse facilities are open on club days or by arrangement. Eftpos is available on club days but it's advisable to bring cash for green fee payments that go into the honesty box.
